Basic Demolition Safety Training

Demolition safety training is an awareness program about the safety hazards in demolition work and the techniques to reduce accidents in the demolition sites. Demolition work involves many of the same hazards associated with construction work. However, demolition also poses additional hazards due to unknown factors such as: deviations from the structure’s original design, approved or unapproved modifications that altered the original design, materials hidden within structural members, and unknown strengths or weaknesses of damaged materials.

Crane Operation Safety Training

Crane Operation requires a competent person who can adequately plan all lifting operations involving lifting equipment, appropriately supervise, and carry them out safely. Crane operations are growing with the number of international regulations, and many machinery types pose challenges for manufacturers and operators. An effective Crane Operation safety training program helps organizations prevent significant accidents, achieve their obligations, and fulfill legal requirements and Operational Control requirements of ISO 45001:2018.

Confined Space Rescue Training

Two-thirds of all confined space fatalities occur among would-be rescuers. To prevent deaths, it is critical to use good confined space entry practices so that there is no need for rescue operations. Remember, even a well-planned rescue can end up as a body retrieval. Rescues can be performed by any employee or a professional rescuer so long as he or she has been fully trained and qualified to act as a rescuer. Qualifications include knowledge of and experience working with all hazards associated with rescue and confined space entry operations.

Basic Fire Safety Awareness

As per the 1981 Fire Services Act and Regulation 9 of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, the Basic Fire Safety Awareness Training is devised to build awareness on fire safety hazards, how to control a fire event, identifying the source of fire to know its type and selecting the correct fire extinguisher depending on the type of fire, to develop an effective fire safety culture at workplace.

Banksman Training

A Banksman will be the eyes and ears of the crane or truck driver and make sure any manoeuvres they make are safe and don’t put the driver or anyone else in danger. The Banksman communicates with the driver via a radio link or pre-arranged hand signals. By doing this the Banksman can inform the driver of what is going on around the vehicle since they may not have a complete view or clear visibility. A Banksman can also be called upon for many other duties such as directing traffic in and around the site. As such they are sometimes also called traffic marshals.
